The brush is made of metal and has a rock solid, heavy feel to it. I can really put some muscle behind my cleaning. Being able to replace the heads makes this the ultimate brush!

Like some other’s, I was not sure about whether to spend $30.00 on a grill brush but I decided to go for it from reading the glaring positive reviews on Amazon.
The Weber 6448 comes in Weber red and white retail packaging. The bristle brush is already attached and the black, “sponge” brush is in the package as well as an accessory. They are interchangable. I agree with previous reviewers that the brush weighs quite a lot and you can feel the quality built into the handle. The handle includes a ring to hang it from yout grill.
The instructions mention not to use your black “sponge” attachment on a hot surface and they recommend only to use the sponge on the inside of the grill.
Time will tell if this is worth the $30.00 and whether or not the bristle accessory can last awhile. There always seems to be black grill residue getting stuck in the bristles and eventually my previous brushes just gave out. I love this tool. It is really robust. It comes with a brush that you can change out with the bristles. Stainless steel. Long tool for bigger grills and you can get great leverage with it. Rubber handle pads allow you to grab it with both hands easily. My only problem with it is that the grooves to clean the grates are a bit off kilter and so you can’t get the same leverage when you use this part. Also, the ergonomics of the tool make it easier to use the one side than the other.
Like others have said, this thing is a tank!! It’s heavy and very durable and I love the fact that you can switch or replace the brush/pad head so easily. That’s what wears out.
If there’s any con, it’s that it’s big and heavy and takes getting used to handling, compared to any other brush I’ve had or used but those others don’t last 1 season before something breaks or the brush wears out or gets clogged beyond cleaning. But it has a soft grip halfway up the handle to hold is shorter if need be. It’s solid as can be and should last many years.
