This item is good quality and covers a lot of arm. However, the mitt style and the thickness makes it hard to manipulate BBQ tools and move grill grates. Also, I’ve already burned a hole in the finger area. Mostly my fault, but still this is a BBQ mitt.

I think that it would be better used as a kitchen/ overn mitt.

I bout a pair of welding gloves to replace these, and the welding gloves work much better.

Purchased this barbecue mitt for my daughter and used it myself at her house. Very good protection while grilling food. We both are very pleased with it.

The glove doesn’t allow you pick anything up as it is too stiff and it doesn’t allow you to bring the thumb over across your palm. It’ll probably keep your hand from getting cooked but what’t the point? If you’re using this you have no need to put your hand over the grill as you can’t possibly pick anything up with any control or dexterity. I purchased this to replace some welding gloves that are 10 years old and have seen the wrong end of too many burning logs in the campfire. I’m going back to the welding store.

Weber usually makes very good products, such as this one. Well-padded and plenty long, just what you need for outdoor cooking.

It keeps my hands safe from some hot coals. I’ve grilled quite a bit with this mitt and haven’t been disappointed.
