I purchased this a month ago. Worked fantastic the 1st night. Then, the next morning…nothing. I have it hooked to my trailer tank with the high pressure hose Amazon recommends. I could not get any pressure from the hose to the grill. I called Coleman and they informed me that the grill/regulator is not made to work off the trailer tanks. The pressure it too great and it is a safety feature they built in. Coleman said ONLY to use the small tanks or a 1-pound “BlueRhino” style propane tank. Coleman understood that this was a very common misconception and they shipped me a new regulator without question because they assumed I already blew it out.

Good travel grill. Used as main grill when I lived in apartment. Definitely recommend carrying case (for travel) and hose adapter to hook up to large propane tank. Also, an additional grill side. It only comes with one.

After using them for over 15 years, I’m purchasing my 4th Coleman Blue Road Trip Grill (9941-768) it’s simply the best camping grill ever made. The new red one with the wheels is a piece of crap, buy this one instead. I’ve used it for neighborhood outdoor parties and large camping groups (up to 35 people) cooked 300 – 400 hot dogs before the other cooks got their charcoal going. I have the extra full length griddle, one half griddle, two half grill tops, and the wire rack for large pots. For camping you really don’t need the stand cause it fits perfect on most picnic tables. I’ve ueed it in boiling hot weather to below freezing. When you get home you can throw the griddle or grill halves in the dishwasher. The large oval drip pan comes out and can fit in some dishwashers as well. Only problem is if you leave it outside all the time it will eventually rust on the hinges and drip pan, but I get a new one about every three or four years anyway and give the old one away to a friend for a camping grill. Not only can you cook with the lid down, using the indirect method, you can bake in it, make camp nachos, and cook for a very large camping group. When I bring this one out on a camping trip, people are blown away. I bring a one burner, one liter propane bottle burner to heat water and do all the cooking on the grill. Best product Coleman ever made!

“Pair of fully adjustable 20,000 BTU burners with porcelain-coated cast-iron grates” is False, the grate is Cast Alumimun, as well as the griddle.

I ordered 2nd Cast Iron grill, and it is cast iron and much heavier.

FYI for others who order 2nd grill at time of purchase.

This has to be the best grill available. Camping friends have one and we were impressed so ordered one thru Amazon. This grill is fantastic. We put whole wrapped potatoes on the griddle side and they get done faster than in the oven. We also cook onions, squash, jalapenos, asparagus and any vegetable on it. It’s so easy. We grill hamburgers, steaks, etc. on the grill. Clean up is easy. I clean it right after using it. I cannot tell you how pleased we are with this grill. The stand folds up and we put it in the bottom of the rv along with the grill. We try to use it every day for it is actually fun using this grill. Well worth the money and I cannot say enough positive things about it.
